The penalty shot was made by Sebastian Bermudo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Sportivo SC's Rian Moran. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Marcelo Silviano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Sportivo SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Silviano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Unax breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Silviano during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rian Moran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Aznar, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Marcelo Silviano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Orlando Unax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Club Sportivo SC's Marcelo Silviano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orlando Unax made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Club Sportivo SC's Marcelo Silviano got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Tapias's zone, Marcelo Silviano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Unax came out of the goal and Marcelo Silviano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fausto Vincente struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Orlando Unax didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sportivo SC. If Marcelo Silviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelo Silviano was the one to do the kick off. The Club Sportivo SC fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Club Sportivo SC's Segundo Bastia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Tapias's zone, Marcelo Silviano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 58th match minute, Club Sportivo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Montez to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Silviano might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orlando Unax. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Silviano ran back to his position shaking his head. Orlando Unax came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Sportivo SC's Marcelo Silviano. But to his dismay, Marcelo Silviano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Segundo Bastia struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. The referee ignored Club Sportivo SC's protests and gave Amancio Montez a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes Club Sportivo SC got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Montez. If Segundo Bastia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Segundo Bastia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Unax having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Tapias got a freekick which was hit by Christian Elazar. In the 87th minute, Justino Aznar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Segundo Bastia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Segundo Bastia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Orlando Unax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Club Sportivo SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
