With his leg Martin Pudes managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Luna Jazmin's Adriana Rosario fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adriana Rosario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Pudes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingo Silvino made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, NEWELLS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Macias to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as NEWELLS's Serafino Salvadore slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Urbano Irrintzi. That made the score 1-3 after 71 minutes of play. With a little luck, Luna Jazmin's Urbano Irrintzi got control of the ball when Rolando Fanuco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Martin Pudes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriana Rosario in the 81st minute of the match. In the 81st match minute, NEWELLS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Silvino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriana Rosario in the 86th minute of play forced NEWELLS's goalkeeper Martin Pudes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Adriana Rosario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Pudes was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 94th match minute, Luna Jazmin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriana Rosario to maneuver through the defense. The Luna Jazmin manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing NEWELLS to win.
