Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquiles Rico in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Frechoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Leon Luzaide hit a great ball. Leonides Frechoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Rico in the 10th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Leonides Frechoso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Universidad de la Cocoya booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Bazkoare didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Ruben Rencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Euloxu in the 21st minute of play forced Universidad de la Cocoya's goalkeeper Berkay Secavend to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Leonides Frechoso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mateo Lucian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Frechoso having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Mateo Lucian put in a rough tackle. In the 29th minute, Remigio Walme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Berkay Secavend was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Remigio Walme got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hernan Euloxu. Aquiles Rico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Frechoso having to make a save. Edgard Joey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 41 minutes, Aquiles Rico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Universidad de la Cocoya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Rico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aquiles Rico received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonides Frechoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Aquiles Rico slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 46th minute.

In the 52nd minute Aquiles Rico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute of the match, Hernan Euloxu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Berkay Secavend saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 57th minute, Remigio Walme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes, Universidad de la Cocoya's Edgard Joey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonides Frechoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Universidad de la Cocoya reached it. In the 68thth minute of the game Aquiles Rico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Juniors's Leonides Frechoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Boca Juniors's goalie and right to Bernardino Goyo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Boca Juniors's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Aquiles Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aquiles Rico struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Leonides Frechoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Universidad de la Cocoya. In the 87th minute, Aquiles Rico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Universidad de la Cocoya's Dolfo Palmero got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Aquiles Rico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonides Frechoso. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquiles Rico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 96 minutes into the match, Universidad de la Cocoya's Aquiles Rico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonides Frechoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Universidad de la Cocoya fully deserved thier win.
