Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gandofi's Amancio Socorro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paulo Castel kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Xofre Perramon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gandofi's Javier Abechuco. Javier Abechuco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xofre Perramon in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Abechuco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Elvio Guerau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Abechuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Abechuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Guerau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ESTUDIANTES booed when Gandofi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Olando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xofre Perramon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The ESTUDIANTES fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when ESTUDIANTES's Xofre Perramon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Xofre Perramon put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Javier Abechuco. Xofre Perramon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Javier Abechuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Amancio Socorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Nabar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgard Karmel during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, ESTUDIANTES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Karmel to maneuver through the defense. Maximino Osoitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Placido Nabar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The wind increased when Xofre Perramon made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Gandofi's Javier Abechuco got control of the ball when Xofre Perramon tried to sneak it across the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Gandofi's Maximino Osoitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Placido Nabar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gandofi's Javier Abechuco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Gandofi from getting a goal against them. Raul Rufio kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, one of ESTUDIANTES:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aaron Norino placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When Gandofi's Amancio Socorro in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ESTUDIANTES's goalie prevented a goal. Placido Nabar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amancio Socorro went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. ESTUDIANTES's Eloy Manny got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Gandofi supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ESTUDIANTES's performance. The match ended with a win for ESTUDIANTES.
