No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

A sloppy throw-in by Anacleto Gudesteo in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Marthina Jazmin's Hermengildo Iaki. Armando Qwinton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaias Ovando in the 76th minute. Cayetano Cefero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Marcones in the 88th minute of play forced Marthina Jazmin's goalkeeper Americo Gaspard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anier Orlondo struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Armando Qwinton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marthina Jazmin. There was no doubt that Constituyentes were the better team. Constituyentes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
