In the 6thth minute of the game Hernan Ixaka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tuungamelocotones's Domingo Fix was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evelio Gagriel made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Gaudencio Orkatz sent off a good shot on target. Hernan Ixaka took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingo Fix. Domingo Fix dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Rinconada FC's goalkeeper Evelio Gagriel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaudencio Orkatz. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Hernan Ixaka put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Domingo Fix. 24 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Orkatz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Evelio Gagriel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felipe Paez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Domingo Fix. Tuungamelocotones's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Jesus Xacintu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tuungamelocotones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rinconada FC the free kick. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Felipe Paez put in a rough tackle. 45 minutes into the match, Rinconada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Igon came free, but Evelio Gagriel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Feliberto Eztebe took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Evelio Gagriel to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robustiano Frasquito was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Edgar Olop got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Orkatz in the 59th minute of play forced Rinconada FC's goalkeeper Evelio Gagriel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Amato kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Domingo Fix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Astudillo in the 74th minute of the match. Norberto Lapurdi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingo Fix read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Natalio Astudillo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-3 in the 90th playminute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
