In the 10th minute, Rinconada FC's Edgar Olop ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cleto Moise. Cleto Moise yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Evelio Gagriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Fernanco in the 12th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Ixaka in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cleto Moise saved UltraMillonario from getting behind. 16 minutes into the game, UltraMillonario's Baltasar Gabrio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evelio Gagriel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Eduardo Abaurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernan Ixaka's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Cleto Moise skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of UltraMillonario booed when Rinconada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Ixaka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evelio Gagriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Fernanco in the 31st minute of play. Evelio Gagriel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Fernanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes UltraMillonario got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Toli. Cleto Moise was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Antonio Oso. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Placido Fernanco to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Ixaka in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cleto Moise saved UltraMillonario from getting behind. After taking down the ball on Rinconada FC's corner Cristobal Clis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cleto Moise quite easily take care of the ball. Hernan Ixaka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cleto Moise having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Caton in the 62nd minute of play forced Rinconada FC's goalkeeper Evelio Gagriel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Aureo got a throw-in 65 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Placido Fernanco. Hernan Ixaka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Sotero hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, UltraMillonario's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Ixaka came free, but Cleto Moise reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rinconada FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Placido Fernanco scored to the left of an out of position Evelio Gagriel, making the score, 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Ixaka in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cleto Moise saved UltraMillonario from getting behind. Evelio Gagriel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Fernanco in the 85th minute of the match. Cristobal Clis, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hernan Ixaka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Moise having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
