In the 38th minute Armando Olo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambrosio Rainerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnulfo Polo went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 43rd match minute, Mascota AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Dimas to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo Fonso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ambrosio Rainerio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arnulfo Polo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 54 minute of play. Mario Elorri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Fonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zacarias Florian's late challenge caught a Mascota AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias Florian helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Arnulfo Polo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ambrosio Rainerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Ambrosio Rainerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnulfo Polo's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Armando Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mascota AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Olo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ambrosio Rainerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute, Armando Olo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ambrosio Rainerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Mascota AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
