Radamir Falcao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 11 minutes of play, EcoBlock's Leszek Malik made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gualterio Luken was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute, Camilo Jerrold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvano Daunte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Siro Quico made a huge save. EcoBlock were furious when Camilo Jerrold was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 15th minute, one of EcoBlock:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for EcoBlock. Siro Quico had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Arnoldo Salvino's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Leszek Malik came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the EcoBlock fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leszek Malik couldn't finish the play. Siro Quico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Hitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Leszek Malik came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the EcoBlock fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leszek Malik couldn't finish the play. Gualterio Luken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leszek Malik in the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Felix Froila managed to get in a good position for a shot. EcoBlock's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Froila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Luken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Karanka's goal looked a bit too open when Leszek Malik came free, but Gualterio Luken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radamir Falcao kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Arnoldo Salvino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nemesio Bernard hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leszek Malik in the 46th minute of play forced Karanka's goalkeeper Gualterio Luken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leszek Malik was the one to do the kick off. Siro Quico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Bemabe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, EcoBlock's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Hitz came free, but Siro Quico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualterio Luken stood somewhat misplaced when Leszek Malik came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 80 minute. After a defensive mix-up in Karanka's zone, Felix Froila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Luken came out of the goal and Felix Froila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Froila might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gualterio Luken. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Froila ran back to his position shaking his head. Leszek Malik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gualterio Luken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Karanka's zone, Felix Froila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Luken came out of the goal and Felix Froila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. EcoBlock's Leszek Malik got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. EcoBlock were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
