Spectators: 5600 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fidel Pere got the match started through his kick off. Pueyrredón's Nereo Francis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Pueyrredón from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Pulares defense, Pascual Ospetsu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fermin Txeru. The Pulares fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fermin Txeru should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute, Fidel Pere ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fermin Txeru was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Fidel Pere struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Fermin Txeru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pueyrredón. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Arce in the 24th minute of play forced Pulares's goalkeeper Fermin Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulino Ulizes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nereo Francis. That made the score 2-2 in the 32 minute of play. Nereo Francis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Ulizes in the 37th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Fidel Pere left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pueyrredón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. After the first half Pueyrredón were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulino Ulizes to strike the kick off in the second half. Fidel Pere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Txeru having to interfere. Fidel Pere scored 2-5 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fermin Txeru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edelmiro Silbestre kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Nereo Francis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Ulizes in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute Ciro Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Francis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pueyrredón were furious when Anier Erroman was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The crowd rose to their feet as Fidel Pere kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fermin Txeru. That made the score 2-6 in the 74 minute of play. Fermin Txeru was a little too slow when Benedicto Arce got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 2-7. Kalmer Pulver hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Carlos Shepherd struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Nereo Francis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pulares. In the 86th minute, Fidel Pere reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fermin Txeru. The goal made the score 2-8. The supporters of Pueyrredón booed when Pulares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Hernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pueyrredón's Fidel Pere was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 90th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 93 minutes, Ciro Hernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pulares and the Pueyrredón players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Pulares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Hernandez to maneuver through the defense.
