Sergio Rafel hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th match minute, Boca Jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Millrick to maneuver through the defense. If Maximo Paio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Lawrence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Vito, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Feliberto Mitxaut put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Osvaldo Lawrence. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With his leg Osvaldo Lawrence managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when FC Pilinoso's Gaudencio Vito fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gaudencio Vito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osvaldo Lawrence having to make a save. If Feliberto Mitxaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Feliberto Mitxaut showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Gaudencio Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Lawrence having to interfere. Gaudencio Vito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Feliberto Mitxaut managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pilinoso's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliberto Mitxaut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Lawrence breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gaudencio Vito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, FC Pilinoso's Osvaldo Lawrence threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Feliberto Mitxaut, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Feliberto Mitxaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Boca Jrs fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Pilinoso were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
