The audience was convinced that Paulo Rik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Hodei was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 21 minutes into the game, Lino Favila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LOS GORDOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Necol the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, LOS GORDOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Favila to maneuver through the defense. Americo Tipi kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Umea in the 29th minute of play forced LOS GORDOS's goalkeeper Elpidio Hodei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Favila was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Elpidio Hodei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Umea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliciano Dantel charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliciano Dantel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Feliciano Dantel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Paulo Rik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliciano Dantel hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Angelo Obano kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Elpidio Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Damario in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cirilo Umea to make the kick off. If Cirilo Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elpidio Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Tolino in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, LOS GORDOS's goalkeeper Elpidio Hodei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Rik. LOS GORDOS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Robustiano Damario 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Santos Adrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Belmiro having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Edmondo Cericola managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOS GORDOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmondo Cericola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Belmiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th match minute, Necol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Tipi to maneuver through the defense. LOS GORDOS's Elpidio Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Damario in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Necol's Cirilo Tolino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elpidio Hodei. Elpidio Hodei yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Cirilo Umea in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elpidio Hodei, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cirilo Tolino made in the 82nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Robustiano Damario however managed to control. Cirilo Tolino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elpidio Hodei having to make a save. In the 89th minute Robustiano Damario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Feliciano Dantel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute of the match Americo Tipi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elpidio Hodei skillfully saved the ball. When the final whistle sounded Necol left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LOS GORDOS.
