David Mincho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Santos Tomi made a huge save. 12 minutes into the game, La Rubia FC's Norbert De Messemaekere nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Godfredo Menendo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Godfredo Menendo came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by La Rubia FC's Jeronimo Luzaide. But to his dismay, Jeronimo Luzaide quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, Anacleto Gizon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Godfredo Menendo. Sarmiento's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anacleto Gizon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Anacleto Gizon kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. La Rubia FC's Santos Tomi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Bazil in the 30th minute of play. Godfredo Menendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Gizon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmar Egoitz's late challenge caught a Sarmiento's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmar Egoitz helped the player get up and apologised. Delmar Egoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Santos Tomi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Bazil, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Norbert De Messemaekere scored 0-4 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godfredo Menendo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The La Rubia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Constantino Cordarrell succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 73rd playminute. If Constantino Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over La Rubia FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sarmiento throughout the match.
