Marcelo Abechuco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Abel in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Abechuco saved club atletico rito from getting behind. A collision led to club atletico rito getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Victorio Cheche hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Abel in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Abechuco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidro Erlantz made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Patronato's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Felipillo came free, but Simon Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Patronato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halit Ziya Sözmen to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Cordarrel in the 57th minute of play forced Patronato's goalkeeper Simon Gau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascual Nabar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Marcelo Abechuco made a huge save. Marcelo Abechuco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascual Nabar in the 70th minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Pascual Nabar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patronato's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Nabar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. club atletico rito's Marcelo Abechuco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save club atletico rito from getting a goal against them. Marcelo Abechuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Alejandro Çayan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcelo Abechuco, 1-3. Patronato's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
