An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Weather in the 15th minute of play forced Patronato's goalkeeper Simon Gau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rigoberto Roland came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Simon Gau could save by the left post. Simon Gau made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Tomás Jerico sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute Alejandro Çayan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Reno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Tomás Jerico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cosmicos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Jerico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simon Gau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Weather in the 34th minute of the match. Tomás Jerico scored 1-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simon Gau, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Halit Ziya Sözmen's late challenge caught a Cosmicos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Halit Ziya Sözmen helped the player get up and apologised. Marcial Reno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Çayan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Lucio Platon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Simon Gau. Lucio Platon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

If Lucio Platon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cosmicos FC had won after a very even match.
