Patronato were furious when Halit Ziya Sözmen was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Patronato:s Simon Gau showed great skill when he stopped Dalmacio Larpe:s penalty. Isaias George hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes UNION DE TOTORAS got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Aureo. 36 minutes into the match, Patronato's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Orain came free, but Simon Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejandro Çayan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wincenty Kajfasz having to interfere. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Patronato's goalkeeper Simon Gau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marciano Janpier scored 2-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simon Gau, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 51st match minute, UNION DE TOTORAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Orain to maneuver through the defense. Pascual Nabar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Wincenty Kajfasz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Marciano Janpier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Simon Gau. That made the score 2-2 in the 57 minute of play. If 高乐森 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Elpidio Etor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute of the match Faustino Bernabel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Gau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 65th minute, UNION DE TOTORAS's Faustino Bernabel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Simon Gau. Simon Gau yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. After 69 minutes, Cristo Orain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UNION DE TOTORAS and the Patronato players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Alejandro Çayan came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Patronato fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Çayan couldn't finish the play. A throw-in in the 79th minute of the game was made by Isaias George with Dalmacio Larpe as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. UNION DE TOTORAS's Wincenty Kajfasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Nabar in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Marciano Janpier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Gau. Simon Gau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Janpier, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Alejandro Çayan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-5. Wincenty Kajfasz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
