When Ramiro Estebano came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Tacurales FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Estebano couldn't finish the play. Melchor Tipi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Giraldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Almona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Estebano came free, but Melchor Tipi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melchor Tipi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Sal in the 20th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eleuterio Giraldo in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melchor Tipi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Eleuterio Giraldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melchor Tipi was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Eustaquio Canor's late challenge caught a Tacurales FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustaquio Canor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Eustaquio Canor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eleuterio Giraldo took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melchor Tipi. Melchor Tipi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After the first half Tacurales FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Egoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Tacurales FC's Ramiro Estebano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When Ramiro Estebano came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Tacurales FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Estebano couldn't finish the play. Melchor Tipi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Giraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Ramiro Estebano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Higinio Peli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Lorien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Almona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Giraldo came free, but Melchor Tipi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Almona FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Eustaquio Canor hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Giraldo in the 78th minute of play forced Almona FC's goalkeeper Melchor Tipi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Estebano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Melchor Tipi made a huge save. Ramiro Estebano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Melchor Tipi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ramiro Estebano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Tipi having to interfere. Tacurales FC played a much better game than Almona FC and deserved their victory. The Almona FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
