Raul Egoi started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Peli in the 9th minute of play forced Buenos Aires FC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes Buenos Aires FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Lixandro. In the 11thth minute of the game Higinio Peli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buenos Aires FC's Tiburcio Alonso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alejandro Martino struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Melchor Tipi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buenos Aires FC. The audience was convinced that Ewald Flachsbarth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melchor Tipi was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 17th minute, Raul Egoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ewald Flachsbarth received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Melchor Tipi was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Ewald Flachsbarth capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ewald Flachsbarth really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 33 minutes into the match, Almona FC's goalkeeper Melchor Tipi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaston Lixandro. In the 36th minute, Ewald Flachsbarth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaston Lixandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Melchor Tipi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Buenos Aires FC's Ewald Flachsbarth in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Almona FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Alejandro Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buenos Aires FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Martino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ewald Flachsbarth in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melchor Tipi saved Almona FC from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Ewald Flachsbarth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celedonio Gerazan hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 60 minutes, Celedonio Gerazan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almona FC and the Buenos Aires FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, one of Almona FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Almona FC. Higinio Peli in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tiburcio Alonso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ewald Flachsbarth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Almona FC defense, Ewald Flachsbarth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melchor Tipi. The Almona FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melchor Tipi should have stopped the shot. After 76 minutes of play, Buenos Aires FC's Ewald Flachsbarth made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melchor Tipi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Melchor Tipi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Victoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Alejandro Martino's late challenge caught a Almona FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejandro Martino helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Buenos Aires FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Alejandro Martino hit a great ball. In the 92nd match minute, Buenos Aires FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Claude to maneuver through the defense. Melchor Tipi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ewald Flachsbarth went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. When Ewald Flachsbarth came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Buenos Aires FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ewald Flachsbarth couldn't finish the play.
