Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raimundo Uxio started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Giraldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Abelardo Kelemen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eleuterio Giraldo took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abelardo Kelemen. Abelardo Kelemen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Uxio during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Avestruz AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Raimundo Uxio hit a great ball. In the 16th minute of the match Ciriaco Sal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abelardo Kelemen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Eleuterio Giraldo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Avestruz AFC's Abelardo Kelemen. Abelardo Kelemen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Avestruz AFC's Claudio Lohitzun got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes in the game, Raimundo Uxio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fernan Lorien having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Eleuterio Giraldo made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Avestruz AFC's Abelardo Kelemen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ceferino Guillen struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Fernan Lorien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avestruz AFC. After 36 minutes of play, Avestruz AFC's Raimundo Uxio made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernan Lorien was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernan Lorien made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Ceferino Guillen sent off a good shot on target. Ciriaco Sal hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ceferino Guillen got free with Fernan Lorien in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernan Lorien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Uxio in the 43rd minute of play. Abelardo Kelemen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Giraldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tacurales FC booed when Avestruz AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eleuterio Giraldo made a kick off. Abelardo Kelemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Giraldo in the 52nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Eleuterio Giraldo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abelardo Kelemen. That made the score 1-5 in the 53 minute of play. Ceferino Guillen got in the 57th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Fernan Lorien handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Avestruz AFC's Abelardo Kelemen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Sal in the 63rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tacurales FC's Ramiro Estebano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abelardo Kelemen. That made the score 1-6 after 65 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Uxio in the 68th minute of play forced Tacurales FC's goalkeeper Fernan Lorien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Uxio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernan Lorien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Uxio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernan Lorien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Uxio in the 74th minute of play. After 75 minutes, Hernan Perez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avestruz AFC and the Tacurales FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes Avestruz AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Perez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Perez in the 80th minute of play forced Tacurales FC's goalkeeper Fernan Lorien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Avestruz AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Hernan Perez hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Tacurales FC's Eleuterio Giraldo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abelardo Kelemen. Abelardo Kelemen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. In the 89th match minute, Avestruz AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Perez to maneuver through the defense. Abelardo Kelemen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Giraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. With 94 minutes on the clock, Alonzo Ondino commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Tacurales FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Avestruz AFC:s goal. Tacurales FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
