Spectators: 7128 (Terracing: 5347, Seating: 1640, VIP seats: 141) Lechuza's Ambrosio Isidor started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th minute, Alfredo Jurgi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lechuza's Klim Rudinshtein got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute Cristobal Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Timo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lechuza's Xavier Piñeros got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes, Platense's Antonio Maurin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Timo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Platense reached it. Hernan Gitano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Timo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Klim Rudinshtein blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulino Matai having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Hernan Gitano made the kick off in the second half. If Saul Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ambrosio Isidor fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lechuza's protests and gave Ambrosio Isidor a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Timo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Henrico in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Justo Henrico notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lechuza's Pedro Timo. Pedro Timo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Platense's goalkeeper Paulino Matai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Lechuza's Klim Rudinshtein sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulino Matai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Timo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Gitano in the 77th minute of play. 2-1 became the score in the 87th minute when Ambrosio Isidor elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lechuza's Claudio Sein was substituted for Adolfo Nardo. Platense's Antonio Maurin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lechuza. After 95 played minutes Platense got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Vargas. Klim Rudinshtein took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulino Matai. Paulino Matai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
