Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Pirmin in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Berriotxoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hipolito Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hipolito Furtado made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Carmelo Oalo sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, AC Milan's Hipolito Furtado got control of the ball when Carmelo Oalo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute, Jeronimo Senon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Milan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juss Randveer made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico River Plate's Vladimiro Lauaxeta got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute of the match Candido Martxel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Berriotxoa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jeronimo Senon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Rafael Berriotxoa made a huge save. In the 57th minute, Juss Randveer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico River Plate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Hipolito Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Oalo in the 71st minute of the match. Carmelo Oalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Atletico River Plate. If Albano Guifre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hipolito Furtado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmelo Oalo's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Juss Randveer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Juss Randveer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipolito Furtado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Carmelo Oalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Club Atletico River Plate were the better team. Club Atletico River Plate's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
