Nicolas Artaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Belgrano El Capo Cordobes's Leonides Gagriel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Artaldo in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Nalguetas Vertiginosas's zone, Jacobo Heriberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Chan came out of the goal and Jacobo Heriberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Perutxo during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ovidio Rencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Nalguetas Vertiginosas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgrano El Capo Cordobes the free kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacobo Heriberto made a kick off. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nalguetas Vertiginosas. The referee gave Belgrano El Capo Cordobes a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nalguetas Vertiginosas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
