Diego Alagoano charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Alagoano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Los Guerreros booed when Frontera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Raimundo Norino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Guerreros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Norino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute, Damian Hegoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Garcia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Abeitia in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejandro Cordaryal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the match, Damian Abeitia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejandro Cordaryal. Frontera FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Abeitia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Los Guerreros's zone, Damian Hegoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Garcia came out of the goal and Damian Hegoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Frontera FC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Frontera FC's Damian Hegoi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Hegoi in the 31st minute of play forced Los Guerreros's goalkeeper Clemente Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Hegoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damian Hegoi to strike the kick off in the second half. Damian Hegoi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Clemente Garcia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 53 in the game by Gonzalo Eleder from a close distance when the talented Clemente Garcia managed to make a qualified save. Los Guerreros's players were relieved. Damian Hegoi struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Clemente Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frontera FC. In the 59th minute, Gonzalo Eleder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Garcia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Clemente Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Hegoi in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Frontera FC's Damian Hegoi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. 2-4 became the score in the 68th minute when Tiburcio Loi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Clemente Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Eleder in the 71st minute of play. Clemente Garcia made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Gonzalo Eleder sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd match minute, Los Guerreros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Abeitia to maneuver through the defense. If Gonzalo Eleder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Damian Hegoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Clemente Garcia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frontera FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
