Carmelo Michael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Azubeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute Marciano Viviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Michael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Teodoro Oto came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the patanes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Oto couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the HollyWood FC defense, Teodoro Oto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carmelo Michael. The HollyWood FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carmelo Michael should have stopped the shot. Carmelo Michael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Azubeli in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Marciano Viviano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The patanes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some careless play in the HollyWood FC defense, Marciano Viviano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carmelo Michael. The HollyWood FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carmelo Michael should have stopped the shot. Carmelo Michael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Oto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in HollyWood FC's zone, Teodoro Oto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Michael came out of the goal and Teodoro Oto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Abechuco went to the wrong direction when Rigoberto Porfirio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 45th minute, Lázaro Duardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristinel Budulea let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 48th minute shot 2-4 at rihgt post. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristinel Budulea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of HollyWood FC booed when patanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Quentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65thth minute of the game Cristinel Budulea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but patanes's Juan Abechuco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juan Abechuco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Duardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Budulea in the 89th minute of play forced patanes's goalkeeper Juan Abechuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Cayetano Bakar managed to get in a good position for a shot. HollyWood FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Bakar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Abechuco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute Cristinel Budulea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Abechuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Teodoro Oto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marciano Viviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The patanes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing patanes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
