Spectators: 7206 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Siro Fidencio started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Palmarcito FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Efraim. Sañogasta FC's Marcelo Gorri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Cordarrel in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Javier Joachim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marcelo Gorri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sañogasta FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Gorri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcelo Gorri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Joachim in the 13th minute of play. Marcelo Gorri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cirilo Savion went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Marcelo Gorri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Cordarrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Sañogasta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Joachim came free, but Marcelo Gorri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes Sañogasta FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Nayely. When Palmarcito FC's Javier Joachim in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Joachim in the 32nd minute of play forced Sañogasta FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Gorri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Gorri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Cordarrel in the 33rd minute of the match. Siro Fidencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Rodas having to interfere. Celso Cuartio kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Siro Fidencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Augusto Rodas made a huge save. Augusto Rodas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Fidencio in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Inocencio Cordarrel made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Palmarcito FC booed when Sañogasta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Fidencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56thth minute of the game Siro Fidencio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmarcito FC's Augusto Rodas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Sañogasta FC booed when Palmarcito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Savion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lisandro Birila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Augusto Rodas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Inocencio Cordarrel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Javier Joachim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Marcelo Gorri made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Sañogasta FC's zone, Fausto Baumar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Gorri came out of the goal and Fausto Baumar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javier Joachim during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Palmarcito FC booed when Sañogasta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Cuartio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Inocencio Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Tolino's late challenge caught a Sañogasta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Tolino helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Palmarcito FC's Maximiliano Tolino got a free kick in the 87th minute. Ramon Nayely recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Zacarias Mitxaut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siro Fidencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Rodas having to interfere. In the 97thth minute of the game Siro Fidencio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmarcito FC's Augusto Rodas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Sañogasta FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Palmarcito FC to win.
