Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Silvestre Gartzea made the kick off which started today's match. Hilario Sidro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvestre Gartzea in the 5th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvestre Gartzea in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilario Sidro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Silvestre Gartzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Aritza took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian Bilbo. Cristian Bilbo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hilario Sidro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Gutierrez in the 24th minute of play. Hilario Sidro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Gutierrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hipolito Martino kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Calchaquí's Silvestre Gartzea got a free kick in the 28th minute. A collision led to Calchaquí getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Silvestre Gartzea hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Silvestre Gartzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Sidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Chovet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Martino to maneuver through the defense. After 38 played minutes Chovet FC got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Martino. 39 minutes into the game, Silvestre Gartzea lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Hilario Sidro. Silvestre Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Sidro having to interfere. Hilario Sidro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marcial Cordarius. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramiro Aritza was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Erasmo Patrido sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hilario Sidro skillfully saved the ball. Hilario Sidro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Gartzea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chovet FC's Hilario Sidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Gutierrez in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chovet FC's zone, Silvestre Gartzea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilario Sidro came out of the goal and Silvestre Gartzea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Bilbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Aritza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Bilbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Aritza in the 64th minute of the match. Chovet FC's Hilario Sidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Gutierrez in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Calchaquí booed when Chovet FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Gai didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute Silvestre Gartzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Sidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvestre Gartzea might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hilario Sidro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvestre Gartzea ran back to his position shaking his head. Hilario Sidro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvestre Gartzea's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. When Raul Salamon came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Chovet FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Salamon couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute Ubaldo Gutierrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Sidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chovet FC's Leonardo Remigio got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute of the match Lino Vellito sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hilario Sidro skillfully saved the ball. Silvestre Gartzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Hilario Sidro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95thth minute of the game Silvestre Gartzea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chovet FC's Hilario Sidro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hilario Sidro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Gutierrez in the 96th minute of the match. Calchaquí's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
