The crowd rose to their feet as Fernando Abascal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Dacio. That made the score 1-3 in the 32 minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Wunderteam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Serafo to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Dacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Nuno, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After the first half Wunderteam were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Wunderteam booed when Tigres Argentinos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Cristofor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Gregorio Orlandus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wunderteam's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Orlandus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Gonchan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute, Gregorio Orlandus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mario Gonchan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Wunderteam made a substitution. Filomeno Edur replaced Gregorio Orlandus. Filomeno Edur received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mario Gonchan came out and tried to block the shot, but Filomeno Edur slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 71st minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Filomeno Edur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wunderteam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Edur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th match minute, Wunderteam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Hondo to maneuver through the defense. Mario Gonchan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Edur in the 79th minute of the match. Ezequiel Cristofor's late challenge caught a Wunderteam's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezequiel Cristofor helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tigres Argentinos FC's Ezequiel Cristofor got a free kick in the 86th minute. With a little luck, Tigres Argentinos FC's Mario Gonchan got control of the ball when Bruno Hernando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mario Gonchan was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Filomeno Edur capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Filomeno Edur really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. Filomeno Edur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Gonchan having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, Bruno Hernando notched a goal, 1-9, to the right of Tigres Argentinos FC's Mario Gonchan. Mario Gonchan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wunderteam played a much better game than Tigres Argentinos FC and deserved their victory. The Tigres Argentinos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
