In the 24th minute, Modesto Beltran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Razors's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Beltran came free, but Mihăiţă Bodiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florencio Gaztea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alfredo Crescencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Paulino Fernandez fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sassuolo Calcio's protests and gave Paulino Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Razors booed when Sassuolo Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florencio Gaztea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Alfredo Crescencio made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaac Elodio to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Razors's Isaac Elodio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Crescencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sassuolo Calcio's Lucio Gaizko got a free kick in the 57th minute. Florencio Gaztea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Crescencio having to make a save. After 60 minutes of play Razors's Juan Luar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Razors getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Juan Luar hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Razors's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Beltran came free, but Mihăiţă Bodiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Modesto Beltran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute Modesto Beltran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihăiţă Bodiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulino Fernandez got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Razors booed when Sassuolo Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Crescencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Gaztea in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Razors's goalkeeper Mihăiţă Bodiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Modesto Beltran. If Apolo Silvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaac Elodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Crescencio having to interfere. A hard shot 87 in the game by Modesto Beltran from a close distance when the talented Mihăiţă Bodiu managed to make a qualified save. Razors's players were relieved. Mihăiţă Bodiu was a little too slow when Modesto Beltran got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 2-1. Razors's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Apolo Silvino 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. Razors's Mihăiţă Bodiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Razors from getting a goal against them. Mihăiţă Bodiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Modesto Beltran in the 97th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
