Adan Firman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Lope having to make a save. In the 15th minute, Rosendo Vincente left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Deportivo Mitre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 19th minute, Benedicto Chuan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Socorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Nereo Claude tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 minutes, Adan Firman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportivo Mitre and the Bosteros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Mitre's Adan Firman got a free kick in the 28th minute. Francisco Socorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Benedicto Chuan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nereo Claude, passed just outside the right post. When Benedicto Chuan came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Bosteros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Chuan couldn't finish the play. After the first half Club Deportivo Mitre were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rosendo Vincente to strike the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Chuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Nereo Claude tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Benedicto Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Chuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Claude having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Socorro in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nereo Claude saved Club Deportivo Mitre from getting behind. In the 69th minute Benedicto Chuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Claude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes of play Club Deportivo Mitre's Adan Firman was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Adan Firman hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Francisco Socorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 75 played minutes Club Deportivo Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Vincente. Francisco Socorro scored 2-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nereo Claude, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nereo Claude showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Socorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Club Deportivo Mitre's Arnoldo Roldanillo got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Club Deportivo Mitre defense, Francisco Socorro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nereo Claude. The Club Deportivo Mitre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nereo Claude should have stopped the shot. If Benedicto Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nereo Claude showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Chuan in the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bosteros FC had won after a very even match.
