When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Santos Barros took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Higinio Osoro to make any attempt to save it. 16 minutes into the match, Chacras FC's goalkeeper Higinio Osoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Hibai. 18 minutes into the game, Alonzo Estevez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chacras FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lanús AC the free kick. Francis Manyim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chacras FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Santos Barros scored to the left of an out of position Higinio Osoro, making the score, 2-0. Higinio Osoro was a little too slow when Santos Barros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 3-0. When Francis Manyim came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Lanús AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francis Manyim couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Chacras FC's Tomas Ulizes got a free kick in the 36th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Santos Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanús AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francis Manyim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st match minute, Chacras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Ulizes to maneuver through the defense. Pastor Hibai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Higinio Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 49th match minute, Chacras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Furman to maneuver through the defense. 50 minutes into the match, Lanús AC's Santos Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Higinio Osoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pastor Hibai to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Lanús AC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Silviano came free, but Tiberiu Baltian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Niva kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Chacras FC's Octavio Oro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lanús AC. Alonzo Estevez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiberiu Baltian made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Alonzo Estevez sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute Alejo Silviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Baltian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Jesus Eneto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santos Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Chacras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francis Manyim came free, but Higinio Osoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joey Lorho in the 73rd minute of play forced Chacras FC's goalkeeper Higinio Osoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alonzo Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonzo Estevez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Tiberiu Baltian made a huge save. Higinio Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Hibai, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Tiberiu Baltian made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Alonzo Estevez sent off a good shot on target. Alejo Silviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lanús AC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Marcial Deunoro hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Lanús AC were the better team. Lanús AC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
