Martin Miliano succeeded in the game's 2nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After 5 minutes, Marciano Fidencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Famatina AFC and the Lanús AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Famatina AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Marciano Fidencio hit a great ball. Pastor Hibai had several of the Famatina AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 7 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Luciano Ostadar as he didn't even see the shot coming. 10 minutes into the match, Famatina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Hibai came free, but Luciano Ostadar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Famatina AFC's Luciano Ostadar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Barros in the 13th minute of play. With his leg Luciano Ostadar managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Lanús AC's Pastor Hibai fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Robustiano Vito kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Famatina AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Santos Barros 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Luciano Ostadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joey Lorho in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Santos Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 29 in the game by Francis Manyim from a close distance when the talented Luciano Ostadar managed to make a qualified save. Famatina AFC's players were relieved. Tiberiu Baltian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Miliano in the 33rd minute of play. Tiberiu Baltian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Miliano in the 38th minute of the match. Luciano Ostadar came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Lanús AC's Pastor Hibai. But to his dismay, Pastor Hibai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After 43 played minutes Famatina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Miliano. Bernabe Hats scored 3-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiberiu Baltian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Miliano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Francis Manyim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lanús AC's Tiberiu Baltian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Miliano in the 56th minute of play. Luciano Ostadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Hibai in the 60th minute of play. Marcial Deunoro kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Tiberiu Baltian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernabe Hats in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the game, Lanús AC's Jesus Eneto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luciano Ostadar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Santos Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Famatina AFC's Luciano Ostadar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Niva in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Francis Manyim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lanús AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. A hard shot 82 in the game by Bernabe Hats from a close distance when the talented Tiberiu Baltian managed to make a qualified save. Lanús AC's players were relieved. Luciano Ostadar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Hibai, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Famatina AFC's Marciano Fidencio got a free kick in the 87th minute. Santos Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Ostadar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Miliano in the 92nd minute of play forced Lanús AC's goalkeeper Tiberiu Baltian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Gaspar Errolan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Luciano Ostadar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lanús AC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
