Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when German Darien got the match started through his kick off. Francisco Vargas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erasmo Pereyra went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Francisco Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Pereyra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fermin Medero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but German Darien showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 8 minute of play. Fermin Medero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Beturian in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th match minute, Villafañe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Dimo to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Daniel Rioja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albano Quirce came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fermin Medero could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Darien in the 23rd minute of play forced Jumialito AFC's goalkeeper Fermin Medero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Vargas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Pereyra's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. German Darien received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fermin Medero came out and tried to block the shot, but German Darien slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 31st minute. Erasmo Pereyra hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, German Darien reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fermin Medero. The goal made the score 3-2. After a rather tough play, Villafañe's Emanuel Inge got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Jumialito AFC's Erasmo Pereyra in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villafañe's goalie prevented a goal. 44 minutes into the game, Albano Quirce cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Fermin Medero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th match minute, Villafañe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Bernat to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 49 minutes, Arnoldo Paulin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jumialito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Paulin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erasmo Pereyra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the match Romulo Lluterio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fermin Medero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ismael Lixandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Francisco Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Eduardo Hug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Pereyra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Vargas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Fermin Medero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Quirce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, Ruperto Porfirio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jumialito AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villafañe the free kick. Erasmo Pereyra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Villafañe's Tomas Beturian got a free kick in the 74th minute. Erasmo Pereyra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Francisco Vargas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, German Darien managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villafañe's supporters rose to their feet, but German Darien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fermin Medero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fermin Medero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Darien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fermin Medero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Quirce in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Quirce in the 83rd minute of play forced Jumialito AFC's goalkeeper Fermin Medero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Villafañe's Emanuel Inge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fermin Medero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Villafañe's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
