He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eloy Elixio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nereo Estebe got free with Eloy Elixio in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to C.A.Buenos Aires getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Laureano Millano hit a great ball. Nereo Marko struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Eloy Elixio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Pebetes del Bambino. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Los Pebetes del Bambino's Nereo Estebe got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Los Pebetes del Bambino fully deserved thier win.
