In the 17th minute, Romeu Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Patricio Egoitz. River Plei's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 23rd match minute, Murcielagos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Lixandro to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Angelino Bero managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when River Plei's Genaro Berenguer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Victorino Bertran hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute of the game Adrian Dantae made a throw-in which Leonel Seme played forward. Anier Nevada kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Leonel Seme made a precise shot to the right of Patricio Egoitz. River Plei's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Adrian Dantae got a throw-in 56 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Leonel Seme. A collision led to River Plei getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Richie Halliwell hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Murcielagos FC's Faustino Piarres broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Patricio Egoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeu Azevedo in the 63rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Genaro Berenguer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelino Bero was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Florentino Ticho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Patricio Egoitz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Romeu Azevedo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 79 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Genaro Berenguer in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelino Bero saved Murcielagos FC from getting behind. Patricio Egoitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonel Seme in the 91st minute. After some careless play in the River Plei defense, Romeu Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patricio Egoitz. The River Plei fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patricio Egoitz should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Murcielagos FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
