The shot was a little too simple and Arsenio James could save by the left post. 20 minutes into the match, Niceto Gervaso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelino Bero. Murcielagos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niceto Gervaso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 1-2 became the score in the 24th minute when Romeu Azevedo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Leonel Seme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Arsenio James tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorio Monte took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arsenio James. 09-12-18 GALEOTES FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The attack was good, but when Niceto Gervaso in the 38th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Arsenio James showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeu Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When Robustiano Lixandro fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Murcielagos FC's protests and gave Robustiano Lixandro a yellow card for diving instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romeu Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Leonel Seme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Murcielagos FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing 09-12-18 GALEOTES FC to win.
