If Tadeo Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Tadeo Garcia put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lisandro Francis. In the 23rd minute, maxwell FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Artemio Atauri fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 28 minutes into the game, Tadeo Garcia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lisandro Francis. Tadeo Garcia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Seber came free, but Javier Raitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Tadeo Garcia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lisandro Francis. The goal made the score 3-0. Javier Raitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Petri, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Javier Raitin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Petri went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Petri was the one to do the kick off. Racing Club's Javier Raitin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Club from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute of the match, Julio Seber got a very nice opportunity to score, but Javier Raitin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 67 minutes, Artemio Atauri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
