The supporters of Senillosa booed when Ñanducita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Estebano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Leonel Ovando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carolo Niva was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Clemente Shepherd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Carolo Niva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Clemente Shepherd got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Senillosa's Tiburcio Oihan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Ekhi in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, one of Senillosa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Senillosa. Carolo Niva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonel Ovando in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Ñanducita's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Clemente Shepherd fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tiburcio Oihan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Vincente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Jimeno Vincente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Ovando made a kick off. Senillosa's Leonel Ovando got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 54 played minutes Senillosa got a freekick which was hit by Julio Sidoro. After a defensive mix-up in Senillosa's zone, Fabio Guib stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Oihan came out of the goal and Fabio Guib tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jimeno Vincente fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ñanducita's protests and gave Jimeno Vincente a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ñanducita getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jimeno Vincente hit a great ball. In the 67th minute of the match Leonel Ovando sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carolo Niva skillfully saved the ball. Carolo Niva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clemente Shepherd went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Senillosa's Ronny Brask got a free kick in the 81st minute. Everardo Sayvion charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Everardo Sayvion the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Patricio Bernard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 87th minute of the match Primitivo Neto completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Primitivo Neto a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 88th match minute, Senillosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Neto to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Mauro Nabar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Tibalt got free with Tiburcio Oihan in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
