Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pascual Shepherd made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Mauricio booed when Zelaya AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Hermon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pascual Shepherd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Amado Aurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Horacio Bakar came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Zelaya AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Bakar couldn't finish the play. When Baldomiro Lamberto fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zelaya AFC's protests and gave Baldomiro Lamberto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Zelaya AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Lamberto to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Benjamin Gaufred hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zelaya AFC's Horacio Bakar managed to work through Mauricio's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Horacio Bakar dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Horacio Bakar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. David Iratzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mauricio's zone, Horacio Bakar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Iratzeder came out of the goal and Horacio Bakar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 minutes of play Zelaya AFC's Baldomiro Lamberto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 33rd match minute, Zelaya AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Lamberto to maneuver through the defense. Fulgencio Galo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Amado Aurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clodoveo Hermon to strike the kick off in the second half. Pascual Shepherd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Zelaya AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ciriaco Garaile hit a great ball. Amado Aurre came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Mauricio's Pascual Shepherd. But to his dismay, Pascual Shepherd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 65th minute, Pascual Shepherd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amado Aurre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pascual Shepherd's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Pascual Shepherd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Omar Urti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Amado Aurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Zelaya AFC got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Hermon. When Pascual Shepherd came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Mauricio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Shepherd couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Mauricio's Pascual Shepherd sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amado Aurre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Shepherd in the 87th minute of play forced Zelaya AFC's goalkeeper Amado Aurre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Aurre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pascual Shepherd's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute Pascual Shepherd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Aurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Mauricio were the better team. Mauricio's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
