The wind increased when Aldo Blai made the kick off in the second half. Francisco Hernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. 90 minutes into the match, C. A. Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Francisco Hernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Felo. Pedro Virila succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-7. Club Atletico El Linqueño's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
