Corolina's Remigio Gauargi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Opilano in the 7th minute of play. A hard shot 10 in the game by Celestino Pio from a close distance when the talented Anselmo Montez managed to make a qualified save. lo wachos's players were relieved. In the 15thth minute of the game Celestino Pio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but lo wachos's Anselmo Montez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Celestino Pio might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Montez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celestino Pio ran back to his position shaking his head. Remigio Gauargi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Opilano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celestino Pio might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Montez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celestino Pio ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celestino Pio in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselmo Montez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Celestino Pio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind lo wachos's goalkeeper Anselmo Montez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafin Estebe during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Corolina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Pio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yücel Tümer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 50th minute, Leopoldo Opilano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celestino Pio to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, lo wachos's Leo Azeari got a free kick in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celestino Pio in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anselmo Montez saved lo wachos from getting behind. In the 57th minute, Gaspar Jurgi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celestino Pio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Amancio Rosalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Opilano got free with Remigio Gauargi in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eloy Vitin during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute, one of Corolina:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Corolina. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Corolina's much stronger midfield.
