Huergo's Baldomiro Osoro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Huergo from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the match, La Naranja Oxidada's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Manni came free, but Alejandro Natal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejandro Natal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as La Naranja Oxidada's Benito Ralondo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baldomiro Osoro. That made the score 2-2 after 31 minutes of play. After 34 played minutes Huergo got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Larpe. Alejandro Natal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Manni in the 40th minute of play. Alejandro Natal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabricio Manni in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejandro Natal saved La Naranja Oxidada from getting behind. In the 48th minute, Jeronimo Donzel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Baldomiro Osoro. The goal made the score 3-3. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabricio Manni to make the kick off. After 58 played minutes Santo Lordi rounded La Naranja Oxidada's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-4. From close distance Fabricio Manni pressed in the 3-5 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 61 minutes into the game. If Fabricio Manni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Naranja Oxidada's Alejandro Natal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Lordi in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, La Naranja Oxidada's Alejandro Natal got control of the ball when Fabricio Manni tried to sneak it across the goal line. La Naranja Oxidada's Alejandro Natal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save La Naranja Oxidada from getting a goal against them. The Huergo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Huergo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
