Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Teodosio Corderall made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Rodrigo Mikelar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piuké's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Mikelar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10thth minute of the game Rodrigo Mikelar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cardozo's Isaac Blai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anibal Erroman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matias Baumer in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Matias Baumer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Anibal Erroman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anibal Erroman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 17th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dalmacio Porfiro. Matias Baumer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Anibal Erroman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Cardozo got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Torres. In the 20th minute, Nicolas Rivas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cardozo's Isaac Blai didn't even have to move. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Gogo Torres put in a rough tackle. Matias Baumer in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anibal Erroman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Santos Fero hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Matias Baumer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cardozo's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Baumer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anibal Erroman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Piuké's Rodrigo Mikelar in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cardozo's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Piuké booed when Cardozo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Ramond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Rivas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isaac Blai. Cardozo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cardozo's Isaac Blai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Mikelar in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Gaitan in the 41st minute of play forced Cardozo's goalkeeper Isaac Blai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Mikelar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaac Blai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Oalo in the 46th minute of play. Matias Baumer kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodrigo Mikelar was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cardozo's zone, Rodrigo Mikelar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Blai came out of the goal and Rodrigo Mikelar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Piuké's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Baumer came free, but Anibal Erroman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anibal Erroman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Fero in the 59th minute of the match. Nereo Ramond kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. With his leg Isaac Blai managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Piuké's Rodrigo Mikelar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nicolas Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Blai having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Ruben Oalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piuké's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Oalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaac Blai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isaac Blai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Mikelar, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Rodrigo Mikelar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Isaac Blai made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Piuké's Ceferino Gaitan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Isaac Blai. That made the score 1-2 after 80 minutes of play. Cleto Licerio hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Ceferino Gaitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Cardozo's goalkeeper Isaac Blai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Mikelar. Piuké's Nicolas Rivas got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Piuké's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
