The referee showed Santos Fero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andreas Köpke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Corderall in the 16th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafino Javiar during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Serafino Javiar hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th match minute, PibesFutbolTeam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Kapera to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Cardozo's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Benvido came free, but Isaac Blai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaac Blai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Benvido in the 31st minute of the match. Andreas Köpke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Corderall in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Cardozo booed when PibesFutbolTeam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Abilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Matias Baumer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cardozo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Through a series of nice moves, PibesFutbolTeam's Patricio Su on his own came free in the 44th minute of the match and shot 2-1 behind a disappointed Isaac Blai. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodosio Corderall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Teodosio Corderall had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andreas Köpke. PibesFutbolTeam's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodosio Corderall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 59th minute PibesFutbolTeam were awarded a corner. Patricio Su went to the cornerflag to take it. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cardozo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Patricio Su was slow to take the kick. During this time PibesFutbolTeam's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on PibesFutbolTeam's corner Patricio Su fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Isaac Blai quite easily take care of the ball. When PibesFutbolTeam's Benedicto Urtsin in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 76th minute of the match Patricio Su sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaac Blai skillfully saved the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Cardozo's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Benvido came free, but Isaac Blai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rosendo Txaran kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When PibesFutbolTeam's Wilfredo Benvido in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 93rd minute, Herbert Kapera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodosio Corderall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Andreas Köpke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
