But to his dismay, Adolfo Dorio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Claudio Banegas fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fulton's protests and gave Claudio Banegas a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fulton!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Dorio made a kick off.
