Zeledon Isaio came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Cucullú FC's Timoteo Salvino. But to his dismay, Timoteo Salvino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Zeledon Isaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Fagondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Odon kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Zeledon Isaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Fagondo in the 26th minute of the match. Timoteo Salvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Isaio having to interfere. Zeledon Isaio came out of the goal and Timoteo Salvino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Cucullú FC's Mateo Quiroga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After the first half Cucullú FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvestre Odon to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Cucullú FC's Timoteo Salvino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Isaio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. A collision led to Club 24 de Septiembre getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Baldomiro Laurendi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Fagondo in the 59th minute of play forced Club 24 de Septiembre's goalkeeper Zeledon Isaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timoteo Salvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Zeledon Isaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cucullú FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Salvino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute of the match, Jorge Fagondo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zeledon Isaio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Maximo Goito charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximo Goito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jorge Fagondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cucullú FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
