Christian Crescencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Cuarto having to interfere. Bernardino Rufio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Delmar Cuarto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel George scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusebio Nesto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to El Millo getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Artemio Socorro hit a great ball. Eusebio Nesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Berdaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Eusebio Nesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Tximitx in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Juárez's Enrique Abilio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The audience was convinced that Enrique Sedeni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmar Cuarto was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 46th match minute, Juárez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Tximitx to maneuver through the defense. After 70 minutes, Dante Berdaitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juárez and the El Millo players grew even worse after the yellow card.
