To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute 邓岩挺 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andris Ozjorskis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, IMO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Rudolfo came free, but Andris Ozjorskis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, 邓岩挺 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Robin Axelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Benicio Vargas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of IMO FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Benicio Vargas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 53 minutes into the game, one of IMO FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 64th minute of the match, 邓岩挺 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andris Ozjorskis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fidel Hug showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Cordeal in the 68th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Primitivo Cordeal notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of salsedo's Fidel Hug. Fidel Hug was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Primitivo Cordeal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Hug having to interfere. If Samuel Guillem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primitivo Cordeal in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Hug prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Inautzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Hug having to interfere.
