With a left leg Leandro Enekoitz saved Guascan from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Guascan's Leandro Enekoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Cresencio in the 53rd minute of play. Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Cresencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Atlanta players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
