An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Eulalio Chago got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice moves Eulalio Chago could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Erubiel Veremundo however easily saved by the left post. 37 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pasto's Arturo Restu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tadeo Chale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ildefonso Gimenez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Chale having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Clucellas FC's Segundo Sidro got a free kick in the 45th minute. Ildefonso Gimenez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeo Chale having to make a save. The Clucellas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Pasto were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emiliano Marcones to make the kick off. Tadeo Chale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Ted in the 52nd minute of the match. Isaac Ted might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Chale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Ted ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute, Clucellas FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Isaac Ted fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ildefonso Gimenez struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Tadeo Chale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Pasto. When Deportivo Pasto's Isaac Ted in 66 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Tadeo Chale guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Ladislao Beltza kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Clucellas FC's goalkeeper Tadeo Chale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo Restu. Ildefonso Gimenez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Tadeo Chale when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ildefonso Gimenez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeo Chale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Deportivo Pasto got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Ted. Isaac Ted recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Ildefonso Gimenez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeo Chale was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Ildefonso Gimenez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Tadeo Chale made a huge save. If Isaac Ted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaac Ted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
