In the 8th minute Maximino Otsoko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximino Otsoko struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Domingos Arce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. ZYKLON-B. After 13 minutes, Alfredo Valerio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BARREAL SJ and the C.A. ZYKLON-B players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Alfredo Valerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BARREAL SJ's Domingos Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Rexino in the 17th minute of play. Domingos Arce came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. ZYKLON-B's Maximino Otsoko. But to his dismay, Maximino Otsoko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Primitivo Rexino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Rexino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Arce having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Primitivo Rexino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. ZYKLON-B's supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Rexino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dionisio Nesor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivar Strand in the 37th minute. Ivar Strand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dionisio Nesor having to make a save. Alberto Modestio charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Modestio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Alberto Modestio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Primitivo Rexino to strike the kick off in the second half. Primitivo Rexino might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingos Arce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primitivo Rexino ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Orlando Pere managed to get in a good position for a shot. BARREAL SJ's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Pere was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionisio Nesor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the game, Benicio Vergaray threw the ball into play from the sideline. BARREAL SJ's Alfredo Valerio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 90 minutes, Alfredo Valerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BARREAL SJ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Valerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Rexino in the 95th minute of play forced BARREAL SJ's goalkeeper Domingos Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The BARREAL SJ manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing C.A. ZYKLON-B to win.
